At Krippa Family Psychological, exceptional care begins with relationships. Every family deserves individualized treatment, thoughtful clinical decision-making, and a team that knows them personally. Our clinicians work together to create care that is compassionate, coordinated, and tailored to your teen's unique needs.
• Individualized treatment plans tailored to your teen—not a one-size-fits-all approach.
• Clinical decisions made by experienced clinicians who know your teen—not by outside organizations or automated systems.
• A coordinated team of psychologists, therapists, and psychiatric providers working together throughout treatment.
• Small therapeutic groups where every teen is known, supported, and encouraged to grow.
• Meaningful family involvement because lasting change happens at home as well as in therapy.
• Thoughtful privacy practices designed to protect your family's confidentiality and preserve the therapeutic relationship.
• A commitment to evidence-based care delivered with compassion, consistency, and personal connection.

When a family begins treatment with us, they become part of a team that communicates, collaborates, and truly knows their teen. We intentionally keep our program relationship-centered so every adolescent is seen as a person—not simply a diagnosis or chart.
Treatment recommendations are based on careful clinical judgment and your teen's individual needs. Our psychologists, therapists, and psychiatric providers work together throughout treatment so families receive coordinated care rather than disconnected services.
Recovery happens beyond the therapy room. Parents receive guidance, education, and support throughout treatment so they feel confident helping their teen continue building skills at home.
When your teen is struggling, you shouldn't have to coordinate care across multiple providers. At Krippa Family Psychological & Wellness Services, families have access to therapy, comprehensive psychological evaluations, medication management, and Teen Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) services within one practice. When appropriate, our providers collaborate to develop individualized recommendations and coordinated care, making it easier for your family to move forward with confidence.
You don't have to know what your teen needs before reaching out. Whether your teen may benefit from therapy, a psychological evaluation, medication management, or our Teen Intensive Outpatient Program, we'll help you determine the right starting point.
A structured after-school program that provides significantly more support than weekly therapy while allowing teens to remain at home and continue their education.
When clinically appropriate, psychiatric evaluation and medication management are available through our practice. Families appreciate the convenience of coordinated care when additional support is needed.
Every teen receives individualized attention, with family involvement and individual therapy incorporated into treatment planning.
Families are essential to lasting change. Weekly DBT parent groups provide practical skills, education, and guidance so parents can confidently support progress at home.
When diagnostic clarification is needed, comprehensive psychological evaluations are available through our practice. Evaluation results can provide valuable information to guide treatment planning and recommendations.

For many teens, Intensive Outpatient treatment provides a higher level of care while allowing them to remain at home, stay connected to family, continue attending school, and practice new skills in everyday life. When hospitalization is not clinically necessary, IOP offers intensive, evidence-based treatment in the least restrictive setting.

Healing happens through relationships and experience—not just conversation. Teens participate in sandtray therapy, expressive therapies, movement, mindfulness, outdoor activities, and other experiential interventions that help strengthen emotional regulation, build confidence, and practice coping skills in meaningful ways.

Many teens enter IOP believing they are the only one struggling. Through learning and practicing DBT skills together, they discover they are not alone. Our structured groups help teens build confidence, develop healthy peer relationships, and practice new coping skills in a safe, supportive therapeutic environment.

Teen IOP may be appropriate when weekly therapy is no longer enough to manage your teen's symptoms, but hospitalization or residential treatment is not needed. Common reasons families seek IOP include increasing anxiety, depression, school refusal, emotional dysregulation, self-harm, suicidal thoughts without immediate intent, difficulty functioning at home or school, or stepping down from a higher level of care. If you're unsure, our free Teen IOP Assessment and consultation can help determine the most appropriate next step.
We understand that when your teen is struggling, waiting for help can feel overwhelming. In many cases, we can schedule your free consultation the very same day you contact us.
If Teen IOP appears to be an appropriate option, we make every effort to schedule a comprehensive clinical intake evaluation within 24 hours whenever possible. Following the intake evaluation, treatment can often begin very quickly.
Our goal is to help families access the right level of care as soon as possible while ensuring each teen receives a thorough clinical assessment before treatment begins.
Completing the Teen IOP Assessment is an important first step, but it does not replace a comprehensive clinical evaluation. The assessment is designed to help you better understand whether your teen may benefit from our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) or another level of care.
If you would like additional guidance, you can schedule a free consultation with one of our Intake Coordinators. During this conversation we will:
If you decide to move forward with services, we will schedule a comprehensive clinical intake evaluation with one of our licensed clinicians. During that evaluation, we complete a thorough assessment of your teen's symptoms, strengths, safety needs, previous treatment, and family situation before making treatment recommendations.
There is no obligation to begin services after your free consultation. Our goal is not to convince every family that Teen IOP is the answer. Our goal is to help your family find the treatment and level of care that best meets your teen's needs.
Consistent attendance is an important part of successful treatment. We ask teens to attend all scheduled treatment days unless they are ill or an absence has been approved by the treatment team. Regular attendance allows teens to build skills, strengthen relationships within the group, and make the greatest progress toward their treatment goals.
The IOP intake is $215 for a 90 minute intake with a lead clinician.
The Daily Rate for IOP is $250
Weekly costs are:
$750 for three days per week
$1250 for 5 days per week
A deposit of $1500 is collected at admission. The deposit holds your teens space in the IOP, the deposit is not refundable if the client leaves the program prematurely against treatment team recommendations. Deposits are returned at the completion of and graduation from the program.
Possibly. Coverage depends on your insurance carrier and your individual out-of-network benefits. Many families receive reimbursement for a portion of treatment costs. During your consultation, our team can discuss your insurance benefits and answer questions about payment options. We check all insurance benefits and provide a superbill for reimbursement.
Every teen progresses at a different pace. We work closely with families throughout treatment to ensure each teen receives the level of care they need and is ready before transitioning out of the program.
